The National Center for Research and Development (NCBiR) in Poland accepted request of PBKM for co-financing of the project "Development of an innovative advanced therapy medicinal product based on mesenchymal cells derrived from of the Wharton jelly in treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis". Funding granted for this project is in the amount of approx. 13.7 million PLN whereas the total cost of the project is about 23,9 mln PLN. This research is an important step towards development of therapy for ALS with the use of stem cells.
