The FamiCord Group strengthens its position in Turkey by investing in a stem cell bank belonging to the Acıbadem Healthcare Group

FamiCord Group has concluded an investment agreement regarding the purchase of shares in the Turkish stem cell bank which has operated so far within the structure of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group.

FamiCord group has now 70% of shares in the newly created Famicord - Acibadem company. The company was formed from a separate part of the enterprise with the Acıbadem Healthcare Group, to which the scope of activities including processing, testing and storage of cord blood was transferred. The remaining 30% of shares will be owned by the Acıbadem Healthcare Group. The purchase is  financed from the resources acquired within a private subscription of PBKM shares which took place last year.
